Lash/Brow Treatment - AfterCare

  • Always follow your esthetician's recommendations and avoid tweezing your brows in between appointments to maintain the best long-term shape.

  • Avoid exfoliating and using anti-aging products around the brow area for three days before and after the treatment.

  • Avoid using any self-tanning products on the face for approximately 2 - 3 days before and after the treatment. If you wish to use a tanning product on your face, apply a barrier to the hair and just around the brow prior to tanning to prevent discoloration of your tint.

  • Avoid using makeup and facial cleansers around the lash and brow area for the following 24 hours. Keep them dry. Cleanse around the areas with a gentle product instead. Giving the dye longer to settle is a tried and tested way to make your tint last longer.

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, the use of sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms and swimming pools for 24 hours.

  • Avoid the temptation to over touch the lash and brow area after a treatment. Touching can add oils to the area (from your fingers/hands).

  • After the first 24-48 hours, you may begin using mascara -- Avoid using any waterproof eye makeup products. Our Keratin Mascara is also available for ordering.

  • Use our Lash & Brow Bath - it's nice and gentle and will save you time and money in the long run. Don't use an oil based cleanser. Oil strips the tint from your lashes/brows, which means you’ll have to return to the salon sooner than you’d like.

  • Remember your tinting results will be darker and more defined immediately after your treatment. The makeup applied is not permanent and the tint will fade depending on the frequency of cleansing. It’s important the color is a little darker to begin with so the tint lasts. The initial darkness will only last a few days and will get a little closer to the right color every time you cleanse your face.
