By now, many of you have heard Governor Kemp’s announcement on Monday to relax restrictions and allow fitness centers, bowling alleys, body art studios, barbers, hair and nail salons, and massage therapy businesses to re-open this Friday, 24-April.
I pride myself in safe and sanitary practices and adhere to all State Board regulations. However, with the continuing uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, I still do not feel comfortable opening up OOLAN Studio at this time.
The safety and well-being of my clients have always been my highest priority. Most skin and beauty treatments cannot be properly performed with the use of face masks or without being in very close proximity to each other. Because of this, I am confident my clientele appreciates my reluctance in re-opening too soon. I simply do not want to risk the health of my clients, their families, myself and my family. I will continue to monitor the situation closely, specifically in and around Fayette County. I will communicate when I will reopen OOLAN Studio for treatments when the curve is on a definite decline and cases have decreased.
For now, I will take this opportunity to do a deep clean of my Studio and review my practices and protocols to see how I can be of even better service to you all. My online appointment system (http://oolanstudio.com) is still working as well as my online store for purchasing products and gift certificates.
I have been checking my voicemail throughout the day and returning calls as quickly as I can. So if you call, please leave a message and I’ll call you back.
I am very much looking forward to seeing you all again soon! As always, please stay healthy and safe!
