Waxing - AfterCare
-
No sun for 48 hours, no hot baths, no abrasives.
-
For underarms, no deodorant for 7 to 8 hours.
-
To soothe reddened skin, apply our soothing cream (No Trauma Momma), as needed, for comfort.
-
White pustules can occur after waxing due to the over-stimulation of the sebaceous glands. A compress of baking soda and water (1-Tablespoon of baking soda to a pint of water) applied to the area should emulsify the oils and dry the pustules, then apply our anti-acne cream (Get the Bump Outta Here) which is formulated for all skin types, even sensitive skin, to help with skin irritation and bumps associated with waxing.
-
You should return every 4 to 6 weeks (maybe be shorter or longer), or when the hair grows out and begins to curve approx ¼-inch. If you are a first-time waxer, you should be consistent with a 4-week waxing schedule until you have a visible change in your hair growth pattern.
-
Between waxing visits, use our exfoliant (Scrub 'me' Luscious) to remove dead skin cells and help prevent ingrown hairs.
